
Dean’s teaching and leadership expertise was gained whilst working in several Local Authorities; Lancashire, Shropshire, Sandwell, Worcestershire, Telford and Wrekin, Blackpool and Blackburn with Darwen. Each different school and area has added a richness and diversity to his expertise that helps to focus on people as individuals and value all contributions from the school community.
Dean also works as a local leader of education and for Ofsted as a school inspector. This work continues to widen his experience and expertise that in turn contributes to the development of leaders within AtC. Working in partnership with a wider group of stakeholders is a key part of Dean’s vision for the Trust.
In his role as CEO of AtC Dean leads on the growth and development of the Trust to support sustained improvements in all Trust schools, working collaboratively with other schools and Trusts across the region, for the benefit of pupils, to provide the highest standard of education possible.


Jenny started her career as an apprentice for Blackburn with Darwen Borough Council. She decided she wanted to work in education after visiting schools with the councils Internal Audit team.
Jenny is married with one young son. Out of work she enjoys a variety of hobbies including sailing and kayaking. Jenny is a keen musician and has played in a variety of bands and ensembles over the years.

Lynda prides herself on her ability to interact with people at all levels and her eye for details, she describes herself as a people person and loves working with children.
Lynda is married and has two very sporty teenage children and spends a lot of her spare time driving “Mums Taxi”. Lynda has spent the last 10 years volunteering at the swimming club attended by her 2 children, her roles have included poolside chaperone, club shop and competition secretary.
