Dean Logan

CEO

Dean started his career in education as a teacher at Witton park in 1991, rejoining the school in 2010 as Headteacher. Dean’s career includes experience in special education, primary school, middle school and secondary schools; in both maintained and academy sectors.

Dean’s teaching and leadership expertise was gained whilst working in several Local Authorities; Lancashire, Shropshire, Sandwell, Worcestershire, Telford and Wrekin, Blackpool and Blackburn with Darwen. Each different school and area has added a richness and diversity to his expertise that helps to focus on people as individuals and value all contributions from the school community.

Dean also works as a local leader of education and for Ofsted as a school inspector. This work continues to widen his experience and expertise that in turn contributes to the development of leaders within AtC. Working in partnership with a wider group of stakeholders is a key part of Dean’s vision for the Trust.

In his role as CEO of AtC Dean leads on the growth and development of the Trust to support sustained improvements in all Trust schools, working collaboratively with other schools and Trusts across the region, for the benefit of pupils, to provide the highest standard of education possible.

Beth Lewis

Head of Human Resources

My career in HR started over 25 years ago in the private sector where I have worked for a number of companies including British Steel, BAE Systems and Hallmark cards. For the last 10 years I have worked in the Education sector supporting a number of primary schools in the Blackburn area before joining Witton Park Academy from where I joined the Central Trust team where I am now the Head of HR.

I’m originally from South Wales, via Worcestershire, Bristol, France, Manchester, London and Japan! My husband and I moved to Lancashire 17 years ago and have gained a teenage daughter and miniature dachshund along the way. I’m a keen cook and often have friends round to act as guinea pigs for my new creations!

Jenny Goy

Director of Finance and Operations

Jenny Goy is the trusts Director of Finance and Operations and Company Secretary. She joined the trust in December 2017 after working as a School Business Manager for a large 11-18 academy. Jenny has previously worked as an Education Finance Consultant which involved travelling the length and breadth of the country, visiting a variety of schools and educational settings.
Jenny started her career as an apprentice for Blackburn with Darwen Borough Council. She decided she wanted to work in education after visiting schools with the councils Internal Audit team.
Jenny is married with one young son. Out of work she enjoys a variety of hobbies including sailing and kayaking. Jenny is a keen musician and has played in a variety of bands and ensembles over the years.

Tracy Harrison

Executive Headteacher

Tracy started teaching in 1992 at Roseacre Primary School. After working here for 7 years, she moved to Layton Primary in Blackpool as Literacy lead across the school. Following her work on Literacy, Tracy was appointed as an Intensive Support Consultant for Blackpool Local Authority. In this role, Tracy supported several schools, working alongside the leadership teams focusing on school improvement and raising attainment.

It was during these years as a consultant that Tracy developed her coaching and mentoring skills, working alongside schools experiencing difficulty and helping to steer them towards rapid and sustainable improved outcomes for children and families.

Tracy became Headteacher at Thames Primary Academy in 2010, moving onto Executive Headteacher at both Thames and Roseacre (on behalf of AtC) in 2019. In September 2020 after the successful merger of Thames and AtC, Tracy was appointed as Primary Director for AtC, continuing in her role as Executive Headteacher at both primary schools.

In this role, Tracy provides support and leadership expertise to the primary schools in the Trust, working collaboratively with other primaries across Blackpool and the surrounding areas. Tracy is a well respected leader in primary education with a vast experience of delivering high quality outcomes.

Emma Holgate

Finance Officer

Emma joined ATC Trust in November 2021 as Finance Officer. She started her career in Finance as an admin apprentice at Bowland High. Her qualifications include AAT, L3 Business Admin and a HNC in Primary Education. Emma studied at the University of Cumbria and decided to make the change from teacher training to Admin/Finance. Out of work Emma enjoys horse riding and walks with her Border Collie.

Seth Wilkins

Arbinger Lead

Seth is ATC’s Arbinger Outward Mindset Lead. He helps build connectedness and collaborative culture across the trust and within its schools. Outward mindset helps individuals and organisations with wellbeing, resilience, relationships, and collective approaches to community.

In addition to leading the development and implementation of Outward Mindset at ATC, Seth is Arbinger UK’s education lead and delivers on request face to face and digital workshops around the country.

Passionate about the importance of helping people succeed, and deeply committed to the production of inspirational media, Seth is a qualified teacher of history, the designated teacher for children in our care at Witton Park, and a published writer. Over a period of many years, he has participated in various creative arts and media-related projects and is currently researching a biography.

Suzanne Wilson

Human Resources Manager

After over 15 years working in the Financial Industry, I took a leap into Education. I started at Bowland High 12 years ago and have not looked back. I worked as Office Manager in Bowland and was also one of the Safeguarding Officers in the school.

Last year I joined the Trust team working closely with the Director of Finance & Operations and the Head of HR in order to help bring together the way our schools work across our growing Trust. This has given me the opportunity to work and build relationships with staff in all of our schools.

I am a country girl at heart but now live in Clitheroe with my husband, 2 children and a very spoiled dog!

Rosie Kausar

Business Support Officer

Rosie works as the Business Support Officer for the AtC Multi Academy Trust, and provides administrative support to the trust Executive Team and to the central team. Rosie contributes to whole trust projects and ad hoc development work in line with the trust development plan. Rosie also helps to support staff recruitment, pensions administration and input payroll changes. Rosie enjoys cooking, spending time with family and friends.

Dan Manley

IT Operations Lead

Dan is now the IT Operations Lead for ATC, he was originally the Network Manager & Google for Education Lead for Witton Park Academy, before moving over to the Trust team September 2021. When he is not running the IT Support provision for all of our schools, he is assisting with training & development as a Certified Trainer for Google Workspace.

Having come from a strictly industry focused background, working in education is like a breath of fresh-air!

Dan is married and has two young children, who are Dan's everything. When not spending time with the family, a long drive with a wide variety of music keeps him ticking over nicely.

Chris Hall

Media and Marketing Officer

Chris works as the Media and Marketing Officer for AtC Multi-Academy Trust. He is skilled and experienced within publicising and creating content for both online and offline purposes within the education sector. His qualifications include BA Honours Degree in Digital Media Design and PGCE in ICT. His expertise include developing marketing strategies, proven PR, marketing and communication experience, implementing marketing initiatives using traditional and social media, ability to assess marketing challenges and initiate appropriate solutions, prior experience of digital media and marketing in an educational setting, excellent communication, organisational and project management skills, information management skills including a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.

Zaitoon Bukhari

EdTech Lead

Zaitoon is ATC's EdTech LEad. She is working across the trust and within it's schools to drive the Digital Strategy. The Digital Strategy is striving to create a common educational platform ato enable collaboration, reduce staff workload, improve pedagogical expertise for learning.

In addition to leading the development and implementation of EdTech at ATC, Zaitoon is a Google Certified Trainer, Innovator and Coach and often delivers on request face to face and digital webinar around the country.

Zaitoon is passionate about designing and creating platforms which help reduce workload but are equally impactful for staff and student development. As a qualified Teacher of Science, Zaitoon fully understands the demands of the teaching profession and is always on the search for new and innovative ways teachers can enhance their teaching and learning.

Adam Carlson

ICT Technician

Adam started his IT journey as an apprentice with Blackburn College at primary school, after a couple of years working away from education, he came back to education joining the ATC Trust Team in September 2019. Adam works as an IT Technician, he supports the SLA schools as well as multiple schools across the trust. Outside of work, when he’s not helping family and friends with their IT problems, Adam likes to go on walks in the local countryside or further afield.

Sully Hussain

Apprentice IT Technician

Sully works as an apprentice IT Technician for the ATC Trust. He joined the team in November 2021 and is currently studying, as well as, providing IT support across all four schools at the same time. Prior to this, he has had experience working with HMRC for a short while and has also been employed by the NHS as a Covid Marshall. Sully’s career has only just begun in the IT sector, and he is keen to provide excellent digital support to all users. Over a period of many years, he has had the opportunity to take part in many computing programs as part of his learning. Apart from being around Computers, Sully is still involved with technology as he spends a lot of time gaming.

Lewis Aaron

ICT Technician

Lewis works as an IT Technician for the ATC Trust team. He joined the team in November of 2021 and is providing IT support to both of the schools in the Blackpool area. He began working as an IT assistant during 2020, volunteering his time to help out a school during lockdown which then led to a role as a full time IT Assistant. He has always been interested in IT and studied it in highschool and college. During his free time he enjoys gaming, watching and playing American-football, and is a fan of the Carolina Panthers.

Ethan Warren

IT Technician

Ethan started out as an Apprentice Technician at Witton Park Academy in August 2020. Soon after joining he began to take on the task of Chromebook repairs and picked up his Google Certified Educator Level 1 and 2 certificates. He finished his Apprenticeship a year later and became an IT Technician for the Trust. He is currently based in the Prep and Repair Centre (PRC) repairing Chromebooks and devices from across the Trust. He regularly plays the guitar and loves watching basketball. He also loves everything to do with music, listening to everything from Mongolian Heavy Metal to Taylor Swift!

Zubair Mulla

ICT Technician

Zubair works as an IT Technician for AtC Multi-Academy Trust. He provides IT support to multiple schools across the trust both onsite and remote. Previously he has worked at Preston College where he decided he wanted to have a career change and work in IT. He gained a L3 Diploma in Interactive Media and Software qualification at Blackburn College previously which has enabled him to learn and build upon his knowledge of IT systems. He is a keen learner and wants to support the schools across the trust, helping them to implement the new digital strategy. Outside of work Zubair enjoys playing sports and working on small DIY projects at home.

Jason Mills

IT Technician

Jason supports IT use in school, based primarily at Witton Park Academy. He has many years experience from similar roles in other schools and joined Witton in 2012 at the opening of its new building. Jason is your man for crafting a spreadsheet formula or a sonnet, though he finds there is less call for the latter.
