ATC News Update 5.11.2021

Weekly news

This week across the Trust we welcomed back all our schools for the final half term of 2021. We also welcomed 3 new members of staff:

  • Emma – Trust Finance Officer
  • Lewis  – IT Technician
  • Zubair – IT Technician
  • Sully – Apprentice IT Technician

We look forward to working with them across the Trust.

A massive thank you to everyone that was involved in the admin team training day on Tuesday. Thank you to Zaitoon, Dan, Will and Rosie for organising this. The staff that attended found the training very informative and useful. Follow the hashtag  #schooladmintraining to see the training day in action.

Edtech coaching is now in place across the schools within the Trust. The Digital Lead will be attending various classes and helping the teachers within the classroom. This is part of the Digital Strategy.

We continue to explore HR management softwarethat will help improve the effectiveness and efficiency across the whole trust. Further updates to follow. In addition to this, the team are looking at building a staff intranet across the Trust. This will be a gateway for all staff to access policies and forms in one central location.

There was also some Inset training happening across the primary schools. At Roseacre the sessions included phonics and curriculum roadmaps and at Thames they revisited long term memory.

We continue to support the COVID vaccination programme with Witton vaccinations taking place before half term and vaccinations scheduled at Bowland shortly.

The next round of Local Governing Board meetings take place next week, ahead of the Trust Board meetings towards the end of the month..
